Khoo Swee Lan

Acting CEO

Ms Khoo Swee Lan joined NTUC Link as Chief Human Resource Officer on 1 April 2017 and has now stepped in to cover as Acting CEO of NTUC Link.

Ms Khoo brings with her over 20 years of experience developing a strong culture of performance, leadership capabilities, and innovative working models in various HR, commercial and consulting roles with companies such as Royal Dutch Shell, SingTel, Youth Guidance and SDC Consulting.

Prior to joining NTUC Link, Ms Khoo was Head of Talent and Development at NTUC Enterprise where she led group-wide transformation initiatives to strengthen the overall people capabilities and to drive a more innovative culture towards the digital economy within the NTUC Group of Social Enterprises.

Ms Khoo holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Honors) degree from the National University of Singapore.

Charlie Ang

Senior Vice President, Strategic Partnerships

Mr Charlie Ang leads the strategic partnership of key accounts and drives merchant growth on our platforms. 

Mr Ang has worked in the banking industry for more than 20 years, covering roles such as treasury, lending, wealth, product and partnership management in American Express, Standard Chartered, and Citibank. Prior to joining NTUC Link, he was responsible for Card Usage and Loyalty in Citibank where he tripled cards sales with partnerships in dining, travel, shopping and digital categories that powered the bank to be a market leader in issuing sales.

Mr Ang holds a Bachelor of Business Studies (Hons) degree, specializing in Financial Analysis, from the Nanyang Technological University. 


Acting Head of Finance

Mr Chew Kum Fai leads the Finance department which is responsible for Controlling, Pricing, Planning and Analysis and Compliance functions of the group.

Mr Chew has more than 20 years’ experience in Finance, which includes strategy, treasury and financial planning and analysis gained from MNCs and financial institutions. Prior to joining NTUC Link, Mr Chew was leading Regional FP&A in Citibank, covering Retail Banking products across Asia/EMEA. Besides working in Finance, Mr Chew had also took on a business role of Regional Sales & Distribution Director at Citibank where he led sales incentive campaigns and conducted studies on distribution profitability (which covers branches and ATMs).

Mr Chew holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (First Class Honours) degree from the Nanyang Technological University and a Masters of Science in Applied Finance from the National University of Singapore.

Zhao Jingyuan

Senior Vice President, Link Analytic Centre 

Dr Zhao Jingyuan joined NTUC Link in July 2017 as Director, Link Analytic Centre. In this role, she is responsible for building our data science capabilities for NTUC Group of Social Enterprises, driving business analytic solutions for Link, and developing a core digital analytic centre.

Dr Zhao has worked in the data science sector across different industries over the last 10 years, which includes stints in research institutes, market research, Telco and E-commerce companies. Dr Zhao comes to us from Lazada where she was the VP, Data Science for the e-commerce platform in the southeast Asia region. At Lazada, she led a team of business analysts and scientists, building leading edge techniques and business solutions to improve personalized customer experiences, help brand and partnership growth in digital markets, and build innovative and scalable data products for internal and external parties. She brings a unique mix of experiences in data analytics, data monetization and business strategy.

Dr Zhao holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from the National University of Singapore in addition to a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Mathematics.


Senior Vice President, Loyalty & Marketing

Mr Christian is an accomplished and seasoned regional consumer marketing practitioner with more than 10 years’ experience in Loyalty, CRM, Partnerships and Digital across the retail & financial sectors.

Mr Christian’s loyalty marketing journey began in the financial sector with OCBC Bank and American Express and has spanned across department stores such as Robinsons Group and lifestyle retails like Wing Tai and MAP. Experienced in designing, building and operating successful large-scale regional loyalty business such as MAPCLUB (the largest coalition loyalty program in Indonesia), Robinson Group (The largest retail loyalty programme in Singapore), WT+ (the largest fashion loyalty program in Singapore), he understands the importance of brand authenticity and prioritises the customer’s experience.

As a loyalty marketing and CRM expert, Mr Christian regularly shares his experience with fellow practitioners at industry events and radio talk shows and believes that becoming a loyalty guru is a lifelong quest, but one well worth pursuing.

Mr Christian holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance (First Class Honours) from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).


Chief Digital & Technology Officer

Mr Leandro Cavaleri Gerhardinger joined NTUC Link as the CDTO, leading technology, software engineering and digital channels.

Mr Gerhardinger's last role was with Honestbee where he was their Vice President of Product & Engineering in the Groceries & Food Delivery segment. As a member of the management executive team, he was responsible for leading and growing the Product, Engineering and Data for both e-commerce and logistics fronts, and helped manage both internal stakeholders and external suppliers to coordinate the technology and product roadmaps for sustaining the organisation’s growth & expansion, increasing customer retention and optimizing operations cost efficiency.

Mr Gerhardinger brings with him more than 10 years of professional experience in building and managing product, engineering and data science across start-up and corporate environments. Prior to Honestbee, he was with two Singapore based start-ups in the ed-tech and travel industry as their CTO. His earlier years were spent in Brazil, where he was a Management Consultant with Accenture and a Software Engineer with Politec, a US based marketplace for software-outsource companies and clients.

Mr Gerhardinger holds a M.D. Computer Sciences and Statistics from the University of Sao Paulo.
